SummaryThe scene start with the the girls gossiping about who ever win the win inter-class tournament will, you can date Ichika. Houki seems to be trouble by her past when she try to reminiscing it. During a personal training time at the arena, while Rin and Cecilia having a training, they have been distrupted by Laura and mock them. Taking the challenged, Rin and Cecilia fight with Laura on 2 vs 1 fight. Laura wins easily and begin to tortured both of them. Ichika saw the tragedy, make his own way to the arena to save Rin and Cecilia. Charles helps Ichika by backing up him. The fight stop as Chifuyu interfere the fight. Ichika and Charles visit Rin and Cecilia that was hospitalized. As they were talking, they were interrupt by the some random girls and they tried to be his partner. The new condition has been made for the tournament which is the fight must be in pairs. Ichika rejects the offers of the other and declare that he will pair with Charles. After a while, Yamada-sensei enter room and tell them that Rin and Cecilia are restricted from taking the test because of damage on their IS. Ichika and Charles went back to their room and chatting along the way. When Ichika and Charles want to change their clothes as they arrive at their room, Ichika been knock out by Charles for some reason and Ichika fell asleep after that. As the next day start, Ichika surprised when he look at the fight charts. Houki also seems to be bothered by the partner selection… ScreenshotsPersonal ImpressionTitle “Blue Days/ Red switch” really bothers me, deep meaning??? Another cool and relaxing day that triggers some tragedy or something. Never mind with that, this episode changes everything as Laura becoming a major enemy in this arc. Laura really strong as she defeated Rin and Cecilia easily without any scratch. With her perfect shield barrier which is A.I.C (Active Inertia Canceler) that were installed in Schwarzer Roegen(Laura IS), she’s unstoppable. Its an ability to negates the inertia of a moving mass. It feels so bug with this kind of abilities. Well, she can block any attack by using A.I.C and attack with her massive laser cannon and also a guided string attack that can stop people movement. With this kind of ability, She and her IS is in another league. Ichika in this episode is really looks weak. Well, he can’t do much this time and he can only save the two girls who are in trouble. He can’t even fight back. Charles on the other hand, try her best to stop Laura from attacking Ichika and the rest as he begin his rescue. And again, Charles is a major fan-service in this episode. Houki seems to be trouble by her past. She try to search the true strength and not by the brute force as she did in the past. Houki really seems troubled by the partner selection on the day of the tournament and her partner turns to be Laura. Well, it loos like Houki attitude in the past having similarities with the current Laura(brute force is the strength). Well, for Rin and Cecilia, they were beaten badly by Laura because of the difference in IS capabilities. Chifuyu on the other hand save the day. She stop the fight immediately. One amazing things that she do is she block Laura attack by using a big sword and that sword usually use by IS and she can lift and stop Laura’s movement even without using an IS, she really is something else. Well for next episode, I predict Ichika will win the showdown although Laura gives her best to defeat Ichika. Thats all for this time, feel free to comment and stay tune for the next episode of Infinite Stratos. IS: Infinite Stratos 07 Reviewback to IS: Infinite Stratos 06 |
Posted: 19 Feb 2011 06:45 AM PST Excellent is the word for this episode….
My thoughtsThe awesomeness of this week’s episode made last week’s seemed weak, with a surprisingly better mystery elements, mixing with some rather creepy moments like the eye in the cup, the crazy maid and man in fire. That being said, the village was indeed full of mysteries, not to mention there were suspicious people which were none other than the plate stealing Nun and the Village Chief. Seeing as the Village Chief didn’t even hesitate when he accidentally killed the 2nd outsider, he was immediately suspected. I mean, who would shoot at any direction the sound comes from right away? Thus I assume he pulled the trigger, knowing that it was the outsider asVictorique told her not to shoot beforehand, that’s why i suspect that everything was planned. Furthermore, notice that the Village Chief didn’t seem like he cared much with the death of the two outsiders. Heck, the whole village continued the ceremony even though there were people dead. What’s gotten wrong with these villagers? Who knows, the Nun and the Village Chief might have been working together all along. Moreover, all these occurring events like the eye in the cup, wolves and the death of outsiders might be the result from the conspiracies of the Village Chief, together with the villagers all along, including Cordelia’s murder case. If they’re really responsible for this, why would they do all that? For what purpose? Though if they’re not the culprit, it only shows that this arc has a much more deeper mystery so if that’s the case, it’s even better as everyone that’s watching this show would really prefer a tougher mystery. In spite of that, we still have more questions yet to be answered which is about Bryan Roscoe. So what does he have to do with this arc? Perhaps he is the red-haired magician. Even so, how is he related with all this? The loose connection between this and the mysteries occurring in the village has really made this arc very exciting indeed. More importantly, the fortune telling by Kujou might be foreshadowing how the future arc plays out. If it is true, since World War I is mentioned, it might really get interesting if they were separated by World War II. Let’s not forget that Kujou is the son of a Japanese imperial soldier. This is, however, just an assumption..afterall, this is a 24 episode show, so who knows what might happen on the later epiodes? The “separation” might even be when the tall-glasses-curly-blonde-hair-pedophile-like guy snatches Victorique away from Kujou as seen in the opening theme. Speaking of Victorique, the bath scene really made my day. First of all, we have a never seen before expression by Victorique when the maid told her that she’s able to take a bath and it was really refreshing to see that expression. If that’s not enough, we have Victorique singing during her bath and oh my….didn’t know her singing was THIS horrible. Nonetheless it was funny anyway. Thus, despite all the suspicion against the Village Chief and the Nun, seems that the maid has just gone nuts in the preview. So perhaps she’s the culprit all along? Not sure what happened but hopefully we’ll get lots of unexpected answers, afterall this arc really started out great, even better than the previous ones. So hopefully we don’t get turned down from all the hype from this episode. Screenshots |
