Fairy Tail 223 |

My thoughtsIt appears that Azuma failed to kill the council’s army, which is quite unexpected. But who knew that Captain Laharl was the on the ship? Heck, if we knew he’d be there, there’s no way he could have died so that wouldn’t be a surprise anymore would it? But more importantly, the conversation between Captain Laharl and Mest was rather intriguing as the Council might end up using the Etherion to destroy all those on the island. Regardless who will will this arc,how will they escape if the Council uses the Etherion? Apart from that, Mest actually developed a family feeling while he was disguising at Fairy Tail – which is expected to happen. Believe me, even the awakened Zeref will feel that way . So far, except for Zancrow, the members of 6 kin’s ancient magic has been very formidable that it seemed like it’s nearly impossible to defeat them. That being said, Caprico’s ancient magic was called the ruler’s magic ; so you’re pretty much doomed if you’re a human trying to fight him. Not to mention he has special summoning magic. However, I suspect there’s more to his power than it meets the eye. But i’m sure Gildartz, Luxus or Mistgun would’ve stand a chance against him if one of them were here but sadly they aren’t. That’s not all there is to this chapter, as we get to know more about Lucy’s background. Thus, I was really shocked by the fact the Caprico’s master was Lucy’s mother, Reira Heartphilia. And it was indeed very surprising for her mother to be introduced at this crucial moment as a Stellar Spirit magic user. This has seriously gotten me very excited for next week’s chapter. So what actually happened between Caprico and Reira ? And how was Caprico able to withstand for 17 without going back to the spirit world? Man, at times like this I really wish that this week is a 3 chapter special. Sadly we’ll have to wait till next week then…. |
