Spring 2011: Morita-san wa Mukuchi (OVA) |
Spring 2011: Morita-san wa Mukuchi (OVA) Posted: 09 Apr 2011 11:33 PM PDT What can I say? I loved every moment of this OVA… Morita-san wa Mukuchi started off as a 4-korma comic and now has it’s own OVA. It centers around the everyday life of one silent girl named Mayu Morita and her world. May sound boring, but I beseech you to think otherwise. It does have it’s strong suits. However, Morita-san isn’t completely silent. She does have internal monologues which turn out to be funny upon how her friends and others will react to her. No one can guess the mind of a taciturn character after all. For all it is worth the OVA does do a good job of keeping you entrained. Misunderstands are included in that package…
Morita-san parents are equally weird. The husband is always in some trouble with his wife… This show is chocked full of randomness….not sure if that is good or bad. You be the judge…
Even more randomness….
I can’t be sure if Morita-san has a future as anime, but if it does the future for it doesn’t look half-bad. Even if turns out to be a one-shot deal like this I’m happy with it. |
The Time Machine! Goes Anime Stein Gate Episode 1 Posted: 09 Apr 2011 08:37 AM PDT Stein Gate anime series is about travel in time. The protagonist is someone who claim himself as mad scientist and wearing the white lab coat all the time though in my point of view he didn’t show anything intelligent from his talk and guess what? He’s still young. LOL Accompanied by a kawaii childhood friend which is 200% innocent, ah! This is just not fair! Press Conference About Time Machine TheorySo the mad scientist and kawaii Mayuri went into a press conference. There at the press conference Okarin (The mad scientist.) are having an argument with the doctor or professor who held the press conference. Before he finished his argument a beautiful girl drag him from outside and ask him;
Clueless, Okarin thought that she is the enemy from “The Agency’” and refuse to answer her. He then leave her and meet Mayuri again before they heard a loud screaming. Upon investigation, Okarin found the dead body of the girl she met before. The Agency Install a Fake Memory?Have you watch Code Geas where the King of Britania install a fake memory on Lelouch mind? Because what’s on Okarin’s memory and what’s happening in reality does not match! The reality is based on the news coverage and also based on Mayuri and the other member of the group, a fatso guy which is a hacker. Phone Microwave?I still don’t know what the microwave do. LOL They put a banana inside it and the banana turns into a gel, mean experiment failed. Mayuri admit she eat some of the gel banana in the past and they are tasteless… like a cement… Oopss what am I saying? Sending a Text Message To The Past?After Okarin found the dead body of the girl, he actually sends a text message to the fatso hacker guy to report that she is murdered. But turns out that the message was received 2 weeks in the past! The Story?The storyline is interesting. I will not miss even a single episode. Well, we have recording function by the way. So of course I will never miss it. I never read the manga or other media before this anime and never will. I will just enjoy the anime series and ignore other media… Although I still confuse what’s the paranoid mad scientist are afraid of “The Agency” that he’s bragging about. Character DesignNot that impressive but I like Mayuri! Well guess what? I like her not just because she’s cute but she also voiced by Kana Hanazawa. So it’s a win! Screenshots Galore
