I was surprised that there was a chapter this week…it should be a break this week right? Oh well…

Anyway, decent chapter this week. It looks like Sanji is enjoying the time of his life there, he even mentioned that he wanted to stay there. With that being said, he over excited himself and ended up gushing a fountain of blood.

Which then resulting the crew in a desperate need for Sanji’s blood type. Although Sanji has been consistently funny with his nose bleeding jokes for these past few weeks, but this time, I think that it is poorly tied with the plot. I know that mermaid Anne was hot and all but come on! Now the crew needs to go through all the trouble to get to another place and find humans for Sanji’s blood type .

But still, with all that happened, we still got something nice from Oda as we get to know the history of Fisher Tiger. Following by a short fight between Luffy and Hammond with his gang. And once again we got to see Luffy in action but the fight was easily settled because Luffy obviously overwhelmed them.

Oda showed us once again that Luffy has really improved alot! I mean, before the time skip, i’m sure Luffy would have been caught in the net as soon as Hammond shoots it. But now it was easily evaded and quickly performed a counter attack. On top of that, we couldn’t even get the chance to see him doing the gear 2 pose at his hand but he quickly pulled out a Jet Pistol!! – AMAZING! Not to mention that it was nice to see Usopp being surprised by Luffy using King’s Haki (when the sea monter tried to attack Luffy).

With his current strength, a Jet Pistol is enough to bring most enemies down and he always seem to fight in a relaxed manner. This makes me wonder who’ll be able to make Luffy fight desperately with a full body gear 2 on!! However, i’m still not sure how he used jet pistol at 3 enemies at once. Oda didn’t draw it clearly there…

Anyway, i’m intrigued by Jimbei’s message. I wonder what he wanted to say though. And i’m surprised that the three mermaid brothers of the neptune house was actually not their enemies. Meanwhile, since Jimbei is not in Fishman Island at the moment, I wonder how will this arc will turn out? And who’s gonna be the antagonist for this arc?

Prediction

Since Oda is currently using the whole nose bleed thing as a plot device, i have no idea how this arc’s gonna turn out anymore. But with Jimbei gone missing, i feel that there’s alot of conspiracy going on in Fishman Island and it’s kinda like Alabasta arc . Also, we didn’t get to see Zoro and other Straw Hat members this week, but i’m sure they’ll be alright because having Zoro on their group is like having Mihawk as your bodyguard!
