Angel Beats! Will Debut a Second Season!

Hello there again.

It’s me Guan posting on ONE-Precinct.com as usual.

The first season of Angel Beats! which consist of 13 episodes have ended many moons ago.

I have been wondering if they will make the second season of this anime series.

I really like this anime series because the story is good, the character design is beautiful, the voice is sweet, and the song is soothing to ear.

Kanade Tachibana

My favourite character in this anime series is of course, the “angel” or “tenshi” or her real name Kanade Tachibana! She is so cool and beautiful.

I am very sure that most of us can’t wait to know if there is second season for Angel Beats!

So do I.

I took this interview with Maeda Jun the Co-Producer which responsible for the storyboard from a Japanese Magazine MEGAMI (August 2010).

In other words, if Maeda said there’s second season, there will be!

Question: Will Otonashi disappear also?

Maeda Jun: There’s no good to live there alone, hence I believe he also have disappeared from that world. He is someone who always think about the future. I’m sure he will proceed to the “next life”. In that three days, (Episode 12 and 13) there might be a lot of drama. But at last, all of the SSS members satisfied with Otonashi explanation and choose to disappear and go to the “next life”.

Question: What is actually an Angel Player?

Maeda Jun: They are the people who want to go against God before appearance of Yuri. In other words, they are similar to SSS before the SSS was formed and their main goal is to reveal the mystery of why that world is created and how to manipulate it. Kanade is one of the Angel Player later when she found a software that she use to create her Angel Guard abilities.

Question: Will there be Angel Beats! second season?

There are not much we can say now about Angel Beats! second season.

But for your information, the script and new seiyu have been confirmed!

The title suppose to be;

Angel Beats! 2nd Term

and it is scheduled to meet you on television on spring 2011!

Angel Beats! Special

or also known as;

Angel Beats! Stairway To Heaven

This is not a rumors. It have been included in the DVD/BD version.

But you will watch it on TV at 22nd December 2010.

Angel Beats! fans do not miss out this date!

There’s not much details about it.

We don’t have insider to tell us what is it nor I have the DVD/BD version.

So just stay tune.
