Mizuno~

Just incase you didn’t notice, previously Itachi recommended this show and it’s surprisingly good. Well, I actually did watch other shows this fall season as well, but sadly we didn’t get to make weekly reviews for it as our blog started for quite a long time after the fall season starts. Anyway, continue on to read the review alright? ;)

Seems like I got used with the pattern of this show. It always started of peace and then with an epic (sort of) fight at the end. So first off, we started of with a bath scene with Sugata and Takuto in it. I mean, what? Their friendship returned to normal just like that? Seriously, what’s up with Sugata two episodes ago? I don’t quite get why he was so cold to them all of a sudden and to be honest, when they fought last episode, I was expecting the fight to be more like Kira vs Athrun from Gundam Seed. I guess I was expecting too much from this show  . I know they’re trying to make us viewers feel something from that fight, but looks like the feel was not properly delivered. And next thing you know, they’re having a bath together. :getlost:  And yeah, lol at Takuta getting fooled.

It is also revealed in this episode that Mizuno is actualy the West Maiden! Well just as the rumors said, she was indeed a weird girl. Sitting on top of the bus? Barge into male’s toilet?  And seems like something is wrong with Head after listening to Sakana-chan’s story (emo? ) and his position is then temporarily replaced by Marino, also known as Manticore. Now this is interesting, being the leader of Glittering Crux and protecting her sister at the same time.  Mizuno seems to love Takuta too! She’s gonna be a tough opponent for Wako and I like her more  Wako should just be with Sugata instead.

Also, they realized that they can’t beat Tauburn with second phase, but what will Takuto do if they reach the third phase on par with him? Sudden upgrade? I mean, why did he get to use a Cybody in the first place? Sadly, I still can’t get the whole picture of the story of this show because things seem to be all over the place. And to be honest, the weak point on this show is the story unless they explained it. One thing I know for sure is that this show is either going to fail hard by the end or epic like Gurren Lagann. But I still have hope for this show, as we’re talking about Bones here.

Surprisingly, there are more male members in the Glittering Crux? Or are they called Vanishing Age? What’s the difference? Well, I’m not really sure anymore. And then we get the same old fight scene again. Only difference is, theres no fish girl singing before the fight which is sad :sad2: . I hope she returns in the future as I miss her song AND she’s my favourite maiden so far. Thus, the fight in this episode concludes that they really need to get to third phase to win Tauburn. Though it kinda suck that Sugata didn’t get the chance to use his Cybody again, but i’m sure he’ll have his chance in the future. Considering that they’re now able to repair broken Cybodies, there migh even multiple enemies in the future and that’s when Sugata can have his chance to fight! It’d be nice to see both of them fight together  . Let me point out one more thing, anyone feel strange as to why Mizuno didn’t appear on Zero Time as she is a maiden as well? Weird. :getlost:

All in all, an ok episode. I just hope that things gets explained and this show will definitely get a 8/9 out of 10 from me. And from the preview, next episode is tittled ” Marino’s First Love?” Wow..could it be Takuto?  Kiss x Sis FTW! :lol emoticon:

First Impression:

As I’ve mentioned alot of times, the story really need to get explained as there are alot of plot holes. That’s the only bad thing about this show. Nevertheless, it was forgiven by it’s amazing art and sound track. Let’s start with the art, judging from the previous episodes, the art for the fight scenes are just so movie-like and it is really awesome to see mechas moving so fluidly that seems like I’m watching One Piece or Naruto!

What’s better than having your favorite music band and seiyuu in a show? The opening and ending themes were not only nicely drawn, the music was nice as well. The opening theme, sang by Aqua Timez, was one of my favourite Japanese music band along with T.M revolution!! I really love their music!  Besides, both of the seiyuus, Jun Fukuyama and Mamoru Miyano are my favourite as they played famous roles like Lawrence/Lelouch from Spice and Wolf/Code Geass (Jun Fukuyama) and Setsuna/Death the Kid from Gundam 00/Soul eater (Mamoru Miyano). All of these good points are the reason why I still have hope on this show despite of the plot holes.

That’s all for my review   Stay tuned for the next episode’s review tittled “Marino’s First Love”!
