Well, it’s been a long time since my last posts here. I’ve been out traveling and I am still out station. I hardly have a good internet connection unless the wind is blowing on the right direction and then I can set sail and surf the world wide web.

So basically, this is just a walk through. Lame that this is kinda outdated but well I believe there’s still many people haven’t watch the series and perhaps they will give this series a go.

Gosick 21-22

Gosick Episode 21 and 22 review

My thoughts

I guess it has been long since my gosick post. Too long to even bother about episode 20 so I guess I should just skip through it. Because I’m sure you guys are much more fascinated by the latest two episodes rather than going back to the older one. Really, I’d rather not bore you.

Hold your horses though, i’ll start with episode 21 first. The mystery regarding the death of Queen Coco played out really nicely. So nice, that I would say it is by far the best mystery arc for Gosick. There are just so many twists and unexpected events happened that left me at the edge of my chair. The king sure was creepy though-to hide the queen’s head above his head inside a large hat. Heck, that hat was far from fit with Victorique’s head which made me think that the King’s head is really really big. Or maybe it’s just Victorique’s head that is small? I don’t know.

One flaw on this time’s mystery case, however, was the fact that Queen Coco was still alive after all that shit. I mean look, Leviathan died, her maid sacrificed for her and Nicole died. Wow, that just made her one lucky bitch, in a way. Quite unfair if you ask me. I hope she felt guilty for all that. Also, such coincidence it is to meet her on the middle of the road back to the Academy.

Onto episode 22, I think it is a brilliant episode. So much for a Christmas episode, which I initially though it’s going to be a filler episode. The relationship between Victorique and Kujou sure got to the point where they are inseparable and it was really sweet for them to cosplay as Monstre Charmant. That is indeed very well thought by the author to relate them like that.

It’s near the end of the series now, usually i’d grow attach to the main characters but not for Kujou though. Look how idiot he is waving from below, clueless that he has been taken hostage but then, it’s not like he could do anything to the guards. However, from Grevil’s looks, I do wonder whose side he’s on. But i’m pretty sure he’s most likely going to stand on Victorique’s side in the end. I have faith on him.

Well then, next episode seem to be interesting one. I hope Brian would be the one to own that rapist Albert. Though it still question me whether there was a twin Brian or he is an illusionist. Mystery…mystery.
