Dog Days Episode 5 & 6 – All The Good Things Happen

This post will cover two episode of Dog Days which are episode 5 and episode 6. In earlier episode, Prince Gaul from Galette have asked his knights to kidnap Princess Millhiore and then Shinku and Eclaire were rushing to rescue the princess.

Princess Leo = Onee Sama!

Angry with stupid things that Prince Gaul do by kidnapping the princess and the hero which accept the challenge both of them are scolded by Princess Leo.

She’s such an onee sama that I like. Beside that she’s also a neko girl.

Princess Millhiore Back To Biscotti

This is genius. I once believe that if you understand how things works you really can create a greater magic than a conservative magic users. In this case, Shinku which coming from human world know the existing of jet stream, aeroplane and skateboard. These things does not exist in the monster realm and those people there do not know the existing of such places but the law of nature are still the same. Hence, materialization of such device even in monster realm will for sure to make it works.

With this materialization of jet skateboard, Shinku brought back Princess Millhiore to the Biscotti on time and they even arrived 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled concert time giving enough time for the dogs maid girl to prepare Princess Millhiore for the concert.

Princess Leo Star Reading See A Bad Incident Happen

Princess Leo the neko princess are actually very close to Princess Millhiore. In the last scene of episode 6, she do some star reading and find out that Princess Millhiore and Shinku will die. Really die and not changing into the fur ball when defeated.

This mean the protection magic are out of place. To prevent this incident from happening, that’s why she always declaring war on Biscotti. But I cannot see how declaring war on Biscotti will change the incident and prevent Princess Millhiore and Shinku from dying. How they die however, are not clear yet.

Star Reading Are Capturing TV Signal (IMO)

For your information, star reading are magic seal which enable the user to see something in the future. But when Princess Millhiore said that she watch Shinku joining the Iron Bar competition and then Shinku said that was aired on TV, I suspect the star reading are actually capturing the TV signal and not actually “reading the future” and by this the star reading done by Princess Leo are not right and might be some play. But this is just my opinion and perhaps something else happen? We won’t know. Let’s wait for the next episode to find them out.

Some Interesting Point

Millhiore vs Eclaire vs Yuki

I keep my eyes on this three girls. If you’re a hero which one will you choose to be with? While “Yuki route” are only in my imagination, the “Millhiore route” and “Eclaire route” are clearly seen in this anime series.

Millhiore Route

Well she’s the princess so let’s assume that she’s the finest girl on the country, she suppose to be. Beside she’s so kawaii that even me can’t resist her if she insist to be with me. I’ll stay at Biscotti if she insist me not to come back to the human world.

Eclaire Route

Eclaire is tsundere and strong girl. She rather use her fist to express her feeling. Being with her is not bad if you consider that she’s cute, intelligent, free and loyal. If given points and compare to Millhiore, she got 9 and Millhiore got 10. So it’s not far at all.

Yuki Route

She’s a ninja. She can cook. She is independent and dependable. How good to be with a girl like this. Beside she’s strong too. Stronger than Eclaire. Being with her mean that you don’t have to worry about her but of course you should still do. Given points, she is equal to Eclaire so it’s hard to choose between her and Eclaire.

Oh wait!? Why is this like visual novel review?

Washed By Maid Girl, My Really Wish!

I really hope so I can become a tycoon and wealthy enough to enjoy a service like this. That sound perverted but that’s how the royal take a bath. While not becoming a royal but enjoying such service will make you enjoy your life to the fullest which I think we should because we only have this one whole life and no more.

Gosick Episode 17 review

My thoughts

This is probably the best Gosick episode ever! For once, this episode is truly action-packed and certainly, with lots of things happened : the war between the Ministry of Occult and Science as Bryan mentioned, the death of Hunt, and the confrontation between Kujou and Victorique’s father – Alber de Blois. That said, this episode felt so exciting that it didn’t feel like a 20 minutes episode at all ; it’s more like 5 minutes show.

Like always, there was never a supernatural phenomenon happening on Gosick, it’s always been science all along. Heck, i’m more of a science guy if you ask me, since i’m studying engineering afterall. Hence, we got to know that the large imagine of Maria was actually caused by the projection of that device. But what about the death of Hunt and granny inside the cabinet-like thingy when they performed the magic show? I also think this is most likely the mystery Cordelia is referring, but it could be others too.

It was rather unexpected that the unknown blonde-curly-hair guy that i suspected all along was actually Albert de Blois. But from the his shadows when he was having a phone call with Grevil, Albert seemed to be an old man with a short hair to me. So if he’s Albert, why not capture/kill Kujou on the spot? I seriously find it strange for him to let Kujou off just like that as he obviously could have kidnapped him.

‘The Black Reaper this , the Black Reaper that’ – I find it great that it was brought up even at this late of this series and we’ve been hearing all sorts of Kujou being a threat but he ever does was ~~whine~~ . Waiiiit! Surprisingly he didn’t this week! Instead, he was quite manly. Especially the part where he’s catching the train ; i was actually worried at him for a second there. Notice too that the interaction between him and Victorique is more lovey-dovey this episode. I must say it is very sweet for them to be like that ; hopefully it lasts till the end of this series.

It appears that I can easily highlight what next episode is about ” OMGGOD VICTORIQUE IN MAID OUTFIT! ” but then again, who’s peeing behind Kujou and Victorique at the end of this episode? And I have to say, the black haired girl is certainly suspicious. She could be the one responsible for the death of Hunt.
